ECW: Welcome To Challenge

Another edition of Wrestling Challenge. . .where's Gorilla and Bobby?? Oh wait, this is ECW. . .
Matt Striker and the Boogeyman. Click. How has Matt Striker been around this long??
Armando warns CM Punk that tonight is his last chance at the ECW Championship. I have a hunch he won't need much luck. . .
Balls Mahoney got literally fifteen seconds of fame in clips from his "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?" appearance. Now it's time for the Miz and Balls Mahoney. Is it just me or does it seem like this show has the same matches week after week? Saying that, we're probably in for the 15th edition of Stevie Richards and Kevin Thorn. I might be in the minority, but I think the Miz has a new millennium Honky Tonk Man like heel personality. Maybe he can be the longest reigning ECW IC Champion of all time. And the big angle the fans have been waiting on for weeks. . .Kelly Kelly comes to the aide of Balls Mahoney after he loses to the Miz. I guess we'll have to wait for next week to see how this pays off. . .
John Morrison checks in with his nice physique and a forced, unrealistic, rehearsed promo where the Tuesday Night Delight has ol' Mirade ready for bed. . .
An add for The Condemned coming out on DVD. PLEASE, either rent or buy this DVD. The MWF helped organize this WWE/Lionsgate release's two Boston premieres this past April (including an appearance by Steve at the first one) and it's a hell of an action movie. Don't judge by what "the critics" say. It seems like a lot of reviewers aren't high on any mainstream release. I'm not a huge action movie fan but enjoyed this and felt it was the best of WWE's three movie releases.
Highlights of Vince on Raw. I enjoy his "they all want my mah-ney" routine, he's a great heel. That's been the best part of the show so far. The bastard's son mother hints that "things are looking up."
They come back to the arena and Elijah Burke has "4-Up" written on his taped wrists. Could he be the son?? He'll be teaming with Kevin Thorn. It's gotta be Stevie and Tommy Dreamer. Yep. Not a bad match. . .Burke gets the pin, it appears they're setting him up to be a challenger for the title "if" CM Punk takes it tonight. . .
Nice montage video to build up the championship match, that's something WWE does better than anyone. I like the video effect they use during Morrison's entrance. This was a really good match, Morrison is a phenomonal athlete. The crowd was hot for both the match and the title change. Maybe Morrison can go get "well" and come back as Johnny Nitro. CM Punk?? Is there a better time for this man to become champ??
