President John Cena Sr. sent the following response to "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa's challenge to Daniel Bryan:
Well, we have another demand from Mr. Chump Change himself. Now, Project Ciampa you want, no, you demand a shot at WWE US Champion Daniel Bryan at ROAD TO THE GOLD on January 8th in Melrose. Demand, demand, I got an email as I was in flight to bring gifts to an orphanage to watch your online challenge. Well, I am not sure who or what got you going on this but, if it is a match you want, then, well after all it is the Christmas season and Santa wants to give present to cry babies too! So, I am in a giving mood and you will have your shot on the 8th, but, if you win it will be a victory that will be earned the hard way! Nobody from the JBL's Uprising will be allowed at ringside, if one member even steps close tot he ring or makes an attempt to interfere, you my friend will not only forfeit the match but as my personal friend would say, "YOU'RE FIRED!!" So, with that said you have a match on the 8th; oh, not just any match no, no, no. If you want that title it will be in a submission match! That's right, one of you can win only by submitting. Those are the terms, the contract is in the mail Federal Express, so sign it, get it back to me and as they said in Rome, "Now let the games begin!" Oh, how rude of me, have a Merry Merry Christmas.
